Haven Technologies Ltd ("Haven", "we", "us") operates the Haven platform at haven.ng. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Nigerian data protection law.
1. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, identity documents for verification) and information generated by your use of the platform (search queries, saved listings, inquiry history, device and browser data). For agents and companies, we also collect professional credentials — license numbers, CAC registrations, and REDAN membership details.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide the Haven platform, verify professional accounts, match buyers to listings using AI, send transactional communications, and comply with legal obligations including anti-money laundering requirements. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to processing; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@haven.ng. We will respond within 30 days.
6. AML obligations
Haven is subject to Nigeria's Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022. We conduct identity verification, record transaction data, and report suspicious activity to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) as required by law.
